m=minimal intends to be a platform for all the different styles of minimal music in the classic sense: from electronic to acoustic, from reissues to current productions, from techno influences to modern classical music. We're incredibly stoked that m=minimal have re-release this seminal work by Conrad Schnitzler after 35 years. 'Ballet Statique' is an absolutely breathtaking album of analogue explorations, from tight micro-rhythms of 'Zug' to cosmic sweeps of 'Metall I' and the gut-trembling 'Black Nails'. Truly stunning.

Recorded in 1978 by Tangerine Dream's Peter Baumann, 'Ballet Statique' is yet another rediscovered masterpiece from Conrad Schnitzler's vast and adventurous body of work. Reissued by the highly collectible m=minimal label, this is pure reductionist synth goodness for fans of Oneohtrix Point Never and the like.

Late synth legend Conrad Schnitzler receives a worthy tribute at the hands of artists such as Pole, Borngräber & Strüver, and Ricardo Villalobos and Max Loderbauer, who deliver two epic and very diverse takes - one a nicely meandering piece of minimalistic techno, one jazzed-up dub electronica. Excellent!

Known as a member of post-krautrock outfit Kreidler Andreas Reihse delivers this rare outing as a solo artist on Berlin's adventurous m=minimal imprint. Long and hypnotic, percussion-driven tracks imbue the spirit of early Kraftwerk with a club-compatible vibe. Excellent album.
