One of the most promising new German techno labels these days is Workshop from Berlin. With only a few releases on their discography it has already catapulted itself into the centre of attraction with a constant release schedule while keeping the information level around it down to a basic minimum. With instantly timeless records by Move D, Kassem Mosse or the most recent contribution by Benjamin Brunn, Workshop sets a high standard in the field of sophisticated house and techno.

Daniel Martin-McCormick touches base with the honourable Workshop label. 'Ice Drift (Stalker Mix)' sees Ital at his broodiest yet, subdued drums, throbbing bass and hazy synths, 'Pulsed' shuffles nonchalant synths over a hypnotic lo-swung beat, finally ending in a sluggish echoey dreamstate. Top stuff.
