Picked!
The Finnish duo's admirable debut album late last year was full of fresh, imaginative electronic creations. In tribute to this, Turbo have recruited a motley crew of diverse remixers - Matthew Herbert, Joakim, WhoMadeWho, Dexter, Paul Woolford, Locked Groove & fellow Finns Teeth and Jori Hulkkonen. Delightful!

After catching a breath over the holiday season the music world gradually returns to its usual state of frenzy. 'Pop Ambient 2012' and Pinch's Fabric mix continue two of electronic music's best-loved series, while John Talabot, Gonjasufi, Leila, and Benjamin more...
Another confident showing by Sei A, who mixes Terrence-Fixmer-style Berghain techno with dubstep elements and chiptune bleeps. Add a pumping, rumbling Martyn remix for a highly recommended package.

Parisian Bike Crew Stars In New Turbo Video
Parisian DJ and producer Mike Levy a.k.a. Gesaffelstein has been getting a lot of attention lately for his unique brand of Codeine-electro-rave sounds, which have been appearing on Tiga's Turbo Recordings as well as his own label, ZONE.

For 'Conspiracy Pt.2' Mike Levy's slows down his Kraftwerk electro / old-school rave cross-over down to a crawl, something which quite unexpectedly sounds intriguingly fresh. 'Viol' and 'Opr' are as menacing as they can get with barely 110bpm, while 'Conspiracy Origins' adds a touch of Pan_sonic bleeps. Ace.

Weaknesses (Video)
(Bonus Video on this EP)
Finnish technoist Jori Hulkkonen shares his S.W.O.T analysis of his own career in this fine EP in four parts. The driving melodic swells of 'Strengths' are complemented by the ambient wash of 'Weaknesses', in turn snapped into place by 'Opportunities' and smacked into oblivion with 'Threats'. Great stuff.
