Founded by Robert Luis and Paul Jonas in 1999, Tru Thoughts is a Brighton based record label born from the success of their highly respected Brighton club nights and dedicated to jazzy hip-hop breaks with a soulful flavour. Highly respected for its authentic and original approach (including being selected as Label of the Year at the 2005 Gilles Peterson Worldwide Awards), the label celebrates its 10th birthday in 2009.
