Trouw Trouw
Run by the team behind Amsterdam's former Club 11, Trouw has opened its doors in February 2009 and has quickly developed into a hotspot for cutting edge techno with residents like Quince, Patrice Bäumel and Nuno Dos Santos. The club has recently started its own label, its first release being Bäumel's debut album, 'Vapour'.

Sub (Track 07 on this Album) was reviewed:
The Amsterdam-based producer's debut album 'Vapour' on the Trouw label was an utterly refreshing take on modern techno this year. This track 'Sub' with its bendy bells, twisted chords and stripped down infectious rhythm was an absolutely stand-out track on a great album.

Joris Voorn, Petar Dundov, and Nuno Dos Santos remix tracks from Patrice Bäumel's recent debut album. Voorn's take shines in his unmistakable Detroit-meets-Ibiza style, Dundov adds his trademark synth arpeggios to the mix, and Dos Santos' version is an interesting glitch techno piece. Recommended.

Andre Obin's 'Soft Rain' is a slice of melancholy electropop with an indie-dance appeal and a distinctly 80s vibe. Taking on the remixes, Trouw's debut release artist Patrice Bäumel ups the glittering synths, Melon reduces it down to a dreamy house groover and Fascination's mix douses it with gliding synths. Nice.
