Lawrence, Dettmann, Dopplereffekt, Cid Rim, Trentemøller
High season has started again with a flurry of great new releases, making it quite a tough job to pick the best of the best for this month's essentials. We're sure you'll agree it's been worth it however with the latest from Dettmann, Lawrence, more...
Neither has Dominik Eulberg abandoned his love of animals (this is an Ep about bats), nor his passion for bringing together melodic club techno and dreamy electronica. 'Chiroptera' is an even split: Its A-side consisting of heart-warming house and poppish techno, while it B-side serves up symphonic chill out sounds. Sweet.
Getting re-released ten years later surely qualifies Jacob Fairley's 'Paper Stars' as some sort of classic - given the intriguing richness of his excellent dancefloor releases over the past few years, it is pleasant to return to the lushly melodic and delicately textured electronica of his debut album.
