Trapez belongs to the Traum Schallplatten label family, which is run by Jacqueline Reinhold together with influential DJ, journalist and producer Riley Reinhold, also known as Triple R. Several hundred releases in under ten years time make the Traum labels one of the most productive sources for the modern and minimalistic variant of techno house, a style tightly associated with the label's home town, Cologne.
