Paul Woolford teams up with fellow Leeds-based producer Mat Playford. 'Satire' takes its cues from Detroit classics like 'Strings Of Life', holding back till minute four before adding a kickdrum to its pianos and twitching bleeps. 'Delirium' reduces the tempo with spaced-out and jazzy disco-tech groover. Excellent!

You never quite know what to expect from Brooklyn's Elliot Taub, and that's certainly a good thing. This time it's a killer acid house anthem for Throne of Blood, the slow and hard-hitting 'Acid Reflux', which comes with an equally great Prins Thomas remix and a sweet pianotronica piece, 'Lullaby'. Recommended.

Quality release again on Throne Of Blood, this time by Belgian outfit Mugwump. Two energetic tracks sitting on the disco tip of things, quite representative of the current Belgian sound. For fans of Bangkok Impact, Eskimo, Putsch 79. Nice.
