Süd Electronic Süd Electronic
Founded in 2002 by Alan Abrahams (Portable, Bodycode) and partner Lerato Khati, Süd Electronic puts forth the unique musical vision of its owners: combining elements from deep house, techno, electronica and pop with percussive grooves and high-tech sound design. The label released a string of impeccable releases, featuring the talents of an all-star cast of artists, until output unexpectedly ceased in late 2007. Despite Portable's recent outing on Perlon, fans are hoping for a return of this highly collectable label.
