The Styrax family consists of two relatively young labels from Berlin brought to life and guided by Steffen Laschinski. Musically it is dedicated to the sound of Detroit being inspired by Basic Channel or deep house productions à la Ron Trent. Noted artists like John Beltran, Don Williams and Arne Weinberg are present on the label with extraordinary releases keeping the classic Detroit vibe alive for future generations.
