A label for dub techno of the highest quality, Scion Versions like no other captures the feel and timeless moments of essential Berlin techno. Legendary underground DJ Peter Kuschnereit (a.k.a. DJ Pete / Substance) and his partner René Löwe (Vainqueur), both from the surrounding of one of Germany's top record stores Hardwax in Berlin, are the founders of this label that after years of silence was brought back to life in 2006. With their re-release of 'Emerge', the classic originally released in 1995 on Chain Reaction (Basic Channel) in the formation Substance & Vainqueur the two reanimated Scion to put it back on top of the league of deep, dubby and atmospheric techno with that unique style of arrangements you have to love, if you like this kind of music in classic Basic Channel tradition.
