Untitled 2.3
(Track 07 on this Album)
Jorge Velez's straight-to-tape home recordings from the late 90s New Jersey surface on Rush Hour. Contrasting the recent Professor Genius release on L.I.E.S., these analogue house ditties do at times wander experimentally, more often gently jacking and jitteringly funking with a few Drexciyan moments. Beautiful stuff.

Voigt & Voigt, Jamie Lidell, Dadub, L-Vis 1990
Oh, February, where art thy days? Well, the month may have been short, but our selection suggests otherwise with great exclusives (Raíz! L-Vis 1990!), amazing albums (Dadub, Bad Cop Bad Cop, Jamie Lidell, Wraetlic, Trus'me, Lusine, Mano Le Tough, 2x Voigt & more...
This label is featured in Update #086:
Drexciya, Night Slugs Allstars, Theo Parrish, Pop Ambient 2013
2013's first month might have started out a bit slow, but in the end a flush of excellent releases should have left none of you cold. Whether it's Theo Parrish's brilliantly experimental house tunes, Kompakt's sublime 'Pop Ambient 2013' or a wealth of great more...
New Age Of Faith
(Track 07 on the Compilation)
Erkki (Hannes Bieger Remix)
(Track 21 on the Compilation)
Use Me Again (Carl Craig Refix Mix)
(Track 20 on the Compilation)
A new collaboration between Legowelt (Danny Wolfers) and Xosar (Sheela Rahman), following up her debut releases on L.I.E.S. and Rush Hour in 2012. Xosar's deep, meditative cosmic-synth slant on house melt perfectly with Wolfer's mellower side in these three choice cuts. Check!
Kermit's Day Out
(Track 01 on this EP)
All-Detroit treats galore courtesy of Matthew Chicoine, with Andrés reworking Recloose's luscious 'Electric Sunshine' from last year to sultry classic hip-grooving house, exclusive track 'Chamois's fine heady house perfection before Oliverwho Factory turn the feelgood anthem 'Magic' on its head into a warehouse techno stomper.

Selected as Artist of week #49
Continuing to tell the True Stories of House Music, Elbee Bad dishes out four more exclusive tracks from the early days of NYC house. The mesmerizing 'Show Me' with its acid undertones, the sick bent-groove of 'I'm Housin' It' is just killer and 'The Wiz...' flops and bounces over a twisted breakbeat groove. Miss at your peril!
