Total WTF chopped, screwed and spat back out hip-hop that manages to sound like both the Gaslamp Killer and Duran Duran (Duran). Judging by his inventive use of familiar samples, and knack for audio mangling that gets right inside your head, we reckon Maxmillion Dunbar is a name you are going to hear a lot more of soon.

Forced to change name for legal reasons from Christian AIDS, Manchester's newly renamed Stay+ releases this strong EP on Ramp. Opening track 'Stay Positive' rewires 90s-eurotrance euphoria with a slodgey ghostly 2010s disenchantment, gritty and twisted feverish tracks. Hot stuff.

Ras G compiles his latest LP, 'Down 2 Earth', arriving this time on Ramp Recordings packed with 21 slices of raw, uncompromising hip-hop as can be expected from the acclaimed Brainfeeder-affiliated, LA-based beatmaker. Ras G is undoubtedly in a class all his own!

In the short span of time between his first release in 2008 and this 7-track EP for Ramp Recordings, Shortstuff's name has become almost synonymous with the post-dubstep movement. His neon-colored sound palette is chopped, blended, and served up raw declaring the summer 2010, 'The Summer Of Shortstuff'.

This masked London-based producer, who was recently outed as nu-jazz, breaks producer Aaron Jerome, has been raising a ruckus lately under his new pseudonym, SBTRKT. Ramp reveals a collaborative release with vocalist Sampha, 'Break Off', which has the future garage / UK bass evangelists hot and bothered.

The keen ears at Ramp Recordings reveal yet another fresh talent operating in the post-dubstep era, Becoming Real. Mangling up 8-bit sci-fi synth sounds and beats much like his label mates, Becoming Real's sense of space and down-trodden tones are what set him apart here.

Early UK hardcore sounds are the thing of the moment and dubsteppers Shortstuff & Mickey Pearce (a.k.a. Martin Kemp) are quick to join the fray. Classic jungle breaks meet rave chords and 'Walking On Sunshine' samples. Also check the absolute killer, digital exclusive Ramadanman mix!

Since her recent invitation to the Red Bull Music Academy, LA's Tokimonsta has garnered much attention for her brand of inspired instrumental hip-hop. The 7-track 'Cosmic Intoxication EP' delivers a small taster of this young lady's talent. Must have for fans of FlyLo or HudMo!
