Second simultaneous outing from Bristol's new Pollen label, this time by partners-in-crime Brackles & Shortstuff. 'Broken Harp' is dreamy track that contrasts delicately plucked guitars with a massive, bass-heavy beat. Nottingham's Geiom adding a more twitchy chiptune vibe. Nice one.

Hybrids dubtech/dubstep sounds from Manchester's Rupert Taylor a.k.a. XXXY on Bristol's Pollen imprint: 'Rain' is a deep and drifting Basic Channel style affair, with Tectonic artist Jack Sparrow putting an emphasis on dub elements and low-end bass in his fine remix. Strong single.
