New Kanada's Adam Marshall and XI team up as Graze, releasing a self-titled debut album that hits it right between the goal posts of techno, house and bass music - from banging, brooding and breaking opener 'TheSust' to subtle, electronica-stepping closer 'On Board'. Excellent and recommended!

Underground Quality / Tsuba man Tazz returns to New Kanada 'Science Friction', an anthemic tech house bruiser that's backed by the more experimentally shuffling acid vibes of 'Piano Kinesis'. The latter receives a swinging remix treatment by Dutch funky house hotshot Presk. Recommended.

New Kanada welcome in the summer with this neat EP from Toronto's Christian Anderson aka XI. 'Joy/Fear' strikes to the gut fusing bruk techno and woozy synths of London's vibrant scene, 'Nightlif' and 'Antikythera' continue in this nimble UKG-tinged techno. Sharp tunes!

Tolga Fidan's unique productions are all ways something to look forward to, as are New Kanada's releases, and the first team-up of the Parisian producer and Adam Marshall's label couldn't have turned out better: Two cuts of gripping, subtly melodic techno meet two great drumless synth pieces on the flip. Excellent!

New Kanada label head Adam Marshall delivers an expertly crafted emotive slow burner, gradually evolving throughout its ten-minute duration. Sticky arpeggios and heady padded chords melting into an utterly dreamy climax midway with Milosh's vocals floating just out of reach. Divine!
