Mojuba Records Mojuba Records
The Mojuba label and its associated a.r.t.less celebrate the true roots of classic house and techno and were founded by Don Williams in 2005 in Berlin, Kreuzberg. With a love for the Chicago and Detroit sound the two Potsdam born Don Williams and collaborator Sven Weisemann have slowly but steadily built their music knowledge, buying records and attending raves from early teenage years on. With a great level of enthusiasm that includes neatly done artworks and music that doesn't just want become the next short lived hit, Mojuba stands in a direct line of labels like Delsin, Transmat or Basic Channel, exhibiting a genuine understanding for the genre's timeless classics.

Don William's Mojuba label has stuck true to its original program bringing classically rooted House/Techno tracks over 17 releases since its inception in 2005 with Nick Solé's 'Minimal Summer'. Here now in 2011 Nick Solé returns to Mojuba with 'Contigo', 3 tracks invoking the deep summery rhythms of Boo Williams and Glenn Underground.

Following his Burial-style electronica explorations as Desolate, Sven Weisemann returns to Mojuba with two deep dub house cuts. 'Emphazised' punctures a seductive 909 groove with fat chord stabs, while 'Caprice' adheres to Basic Channel's reductionist principles. Wonderful release.

There's something truly special about every new Stereociti record and 'Cosmoride' is no exception. Ken Sumitani understands jazz, but builds on this knowledge within a dubby, minimalistic deep house framework. Moody chords, sparse grooves, excellent release.
