Melted Recording was started as a base for local underground techno in 1999 by the "Melting Point Dresden" record store owner Karsten Peters. With the love for deep, dark or melodic dub techno and very good tracks in the circle of friends, Melted Recordings releases formed it's own special sound. Especially the first track "Parafin" by the artist Echtzeit on the first record is still after many years a classic. After pausing for some years Melted Recordings came back again in 2010. It's fourth vinyl release Kryptic Universe "Ha Lo EP" was a boom. Kryptic Universe created a very unique techno sound for this releases. And that´s the label philosophy. Every releases represents it´s own meaning of deep techno which is characteristic of the artist.
