Analogue synth beams of 'Chasing Rainbows' prowl like John Carpenter under nimble beats, 'The Chase' spirals out jagged rhythms and 'Lilloo's Seduction' a drifting dystopic outro. Stunning release.

Rinse FM's Leon Smart, better known as Scratcha DVA spins out his debut full-length on Hyperdub. Vocal-heavy (courtesy of Fatima, Cornelia, A.L., Natalie Maddix and more) he works them around his flippant post-funky rhythms and bold synth-lines in his unique way, making it a dazzling, summery listen.

With a hotly anticipated album due on Hyperdub early next year, London's Cooly G's unveils two collaborations, firstly with Simbad in a dreamy vocal-led synth-wash slow burner 'Landscapes'.
