Selected as Artist of week #3
Joris Voorn's Green imprint releases the debut album of up and coming Dutch producer Pitto, and it is a fine fit for the ambitious label - a distinct and highly polished artist album that brings together house and techno with pop vocals (and on occasion spoken word, ambient, and downbeat) across its thirteen tracks.

Radio Slave once again celebrates the art of epic remixes with his take on Ripperton's 2008 hit 'Leonor's Lanugo'. Part 1 + 2 of his remix weigh in at over 18 minutes total playing time of subtle and hypnotic Detroit techno. 'The Hill' is added on top as a more abstract bonus track. Nice.

Spain vs. The Netherlands
We just couldn't resist. At a time when all of Europe seems transfixed on a small leather ball, the temptation was just to great to pit the two World Cup finalists against each other on a musical playing field.
This week we have selected 11 current more...
'Soba', a track you could just listen for hours on end, and its counterpart 'Udon' further raise the bar for this home grown artist of Amsterdam's label Delsin. His second EP this year after his Benny Rodriguez collaboration for Smallville, we can only hope he continues in the same vein.
L'Ardo
(Track 11 on this Album)
The debut full-length of Swiss producer Ripperton for Joris Voorn's Green label, 'Niwa' is a subtle and elaborate effort of superbly crafted house tunes. Sprinkled with touches of jazz, soul and dub, this is an incredibly varied album which begs to be played over and over. Addictive.
Deetron continues to push his signature sound, honed in years as resident at the reputed Zurich club Trax and producing for major international labels such as Music Man. The self titled track 'Collide' is a dreamy affair, whereas 'Dark Matter' is a deep resonating techno track, sure to find its way into the closing hours of many club nights.
