Fusion
(Track 03 on this Album)
Picked!
Not that anyone would have expected less from Fabrice Lig, but one can't help but marvel at the perfection and diversity of 'Genesis Of A Deep Sound', the Belgian producer's first album in six years, delivering drifing electro, great wonky downbeat, and (of course) deep Detroit techno. Excellent!

Prototype
(Track 01 on this Maxi-Single)
Toronto's Stuart Li, the creative mind behind the jacking House sounds of Basic Soul Unit, displays his versatility in the studio with a new alias... Herman. Drawing influence from broken-beat and Techno, there is no mistaking that this is Stuart Li's own made up sound.

Fabrice Lig & Titonton Duvante team up for a lovely Detroit-inspired track of melancholy chords and analogue bleeps. The Beanfield remix tunes down the string section by an octave, adding a bit more body to the track. A clear-cut case of Mad Mike disease, highly infectious for all UR fans!

Glimpse, Innervisions, Maayan Nidam
Our taste for seductive grooves, lush chords, and uplifting vibes increases in direct proportion to the temperature, and lucky for us, many great producers have been hard at work to satiate our recent hunger for house music.
From NYC deepness to Frankfurt more...
With his two previous releases on Future Classic, Israeli-born Roni Nachum makes his first appearance on Fine Art, 'Guest Service Shalom' b/w a remix by Mark E. Detroit is a strong reference point for the title track as its sultry Rhodes chords capture the mood of early Carl Craig productions.
