Etui Records is a Dresden based label founded by Oliver Hartmann in 1998. In the beginnings it was rooted in detroitish techno but now there is no strong concept about a certain label sound. It's rather a process of finding more ways to bring emotions down to the dancefloor. It's a feeling of sound in a fusion of deep and dreamy techno released by old hands such as Insect O. or Alex Carbo and some new talents such as Alec Troniq, Knobs or Martin Hayes. So that's why the label is called Etui Records. It's just a cover for nice music. Especally Alex Carbo's 'Aquarius' and Alec Troniq's 'Passengers' hit the floors and are sold out. After some vinyl releases the label started also the compilation series 'Tombola Der Freisinnigen' which is open to more styles such as dub techno, deep house and electro.
