His ninth album upcoming, Brendon Moeller gives us 'Wanderer', a dizzying slice of his masterful techno which creeps and captures with its scrubbing textures. Jonas Kopp whips it tightly into a dancefloor decimator, Tommy Fourseven bends it into fantastic grainier shapes with a bopping tenser digital bonus to boot.

Jochem Paap teams up with Glasgow's hotshot Gary Beck for a single on Electric Deluxe. 'Egoist' is a nicely reduced techno track with prominent filtered vocals to which each producer adds his own flavour across four distinct versions.

Selected as Artist of week #28
Picked!
An excellent spin-off of Terence Fixmer's recent album, 'Comedy of Menace Part 2' features Niederflur, Brendon Moeller, and Speedy J on remixing duties, with each new version presenting a unique twist on the original. Recommended.
Speedy J might have turned towards dark and booming techno in recent years, but he still knows how to craft a subtle mood, albeit with fewer means: Superficially 'Shoegaze' consists of a little more than a relentlessly pounding beat, but its gently dubbed-out washes of sound unfold a perfectly hypnotic beauty.

Always pushing the boundaries of techno music, Speedy J unleashes 'Trails', a slow-burning, washed-out 14-minute monster of a track. Comes with a more functional bonus beat dub, and not one, not two, but four different versions by Glasgow's Edit Select.
