Ivan Pavlov's second release on the mighty Editions Mego, departing substantially from 'IIRON's gritty metallic dirge with retrofuturistic synths strangled from electronic pop, with even a touch of deranged disco. Uncompromising as ever, he scrutinises his sonic material from its core in surprisingly enjoyable ways.

Our favourite computer music hooligans return with a fifth album, still dissecting the DNA of rave and this time with dimensions of theoretical physics their playing field. The power sonics of hoovers and saw waves trigger kinaesthetic nausea in your innards that fans of Haswell, Hecker, Fell, Schmickler will relish.

The first collaborative work between Milanese guitar experimentalist Ielasi and Parisian electroacoustic composer Jaeger. Two different improv sessions both approximately 18-minute in length, 'Parallel' a pure-analog broody affair, 'Grayscale' more laptop-based with beautiful textural complexities.

Just two years since the incredible 'Does It Look Like I'm Here', the Cleveland trio return from their solo projects to Editions Mego. Still doing retro like no other, they shed the swaths of fuzzy synths of their previous record, to mesh proggy tranquil sunny guitars, soaring post-rock and cosmic synths. Delish.

Brilliant experimentalist Robert Hampson (of Loop/Main/Godflesh/Chasm fame) returns with not one but two simultaneously released albums on Editions Mego. 'Signaux' is the first of the two, its two long tracks oscillating between grinding high frequencies, toppling bass pulses and complex drones.

After recent stints on Downwards and iDEAL, Russell Haswell returns with some sick-ass slurps and excruciatingly caustic offensives. Teeth-sinkingly complex analogue noise and buzz, 'Rave Nihilation' exploring particularly disturbing extremes and rounding off with a beastly wild live excerpt from Sheffield. Rather fine.

Editions Mego release this special reworking of 'Fa' from Fennesz' debut solo album from 1997. Killer shattering noise splinters imbued with extreme new clarity in double the original's length. An ingenious choice of remixer, Mark Fell slices and dices with his crystalline precision and a Martin Luther King speech(?). Deadly release!

Swiss-French artist Kassel Jaeger debuts on Mego with 'Deltas', an album comprised of three lengthy tracks: 'Campo Del Cielo' combines field recordings with sombre drones, 'Deltas' creates a more ethereal mood, while 'A Guest + a Host' references Duchamp with minimalistic clicks and standing waves. Impressive.

Seven reworks of Fell's Sensate Focus releases which appeared on Editions Mego this year, the first of which '10' reworked an earlier collaboration with Terre Thaemlitz. As ever, Fell's productions have an incredibly hyperreal clarity, surgically knocking microrhythms against spine-tingling frequencies like a maestro.

A collection of recordings from acclaimed super-formation of Christian Fennesz, Jim O'Rourke and Peter Rehberg from their 2010 Japan tour. Incredible vastness of textures tipping between darkly ambient, complex noise and occasional melodic relief, a fine addition to their catalogue.
