According to label owners Jeremy P Caulfield, it is simply an exercise. There are no absolutes, no results are planned, and as of yet all tests have been inconclusive. Well some might disagree with that? a shade away from their 50th release Dumb Unit have crafted a name for themselves releasing funky minimal techno with a moody twist. Artists such as Butane, Jake Fairly and Falko Brocksieper have been dropping dark and groovy after hours cuts on this Canadian label ensnaring the masses and making people wonder if they will ever go home again.

The title (translated 'alchemy') exudes the mystery that Buenos Aires based Seph accomplishes in his debut album. Seph's sonic experiments are not bound by techno but rather enabled by it, creating bewitching rich and expressive textures with revered attention to each sound. Impressive.
