The Game
(Track 01 on this Maxi-Single)
Fine house record by the Jayson Brothers on the Drumpoet Community label, whose consistency of output is more than impressive. 'The Game' is a classic New York house inspired track with a heavy kick drum and up-lifitng vocals, 'Keep On Dancin' is great builder with nice chords and a funky base-line. Cool record.

Swiss deep-house producer Agnès unleashes this EP under his Cavalier moniker, ahead of a much anticipated full album later this year. Expertly cast warm and addictive grooves, with the effortless grace of his lovingly groomed horse imagery. Timeless and lush, with a tasty 90s euphoria. Excellent.

AFMB aka A Forest Mighty Black with releases in the 90s on Compost Records and as part of The Lost Men, now reemerges with this killer single. Old school house hedonism in the euphoric 'Backup Days' and tighter techier 'Nasty Disposition' will keep you jacking. Hands in the air!

Galway's John Daly contributes a firm but kind deep house single on Zurich's Drumpoet Community. As ever, his productions immediately sink you comfortably into the dancefloor, the title track 'Big Piano' vibing dub techno, the others touching on disco, electro and ambient in Daly's understated style. Excellent.
Rest Your Senses (CD Edit)
(Track 02 on the Compilation)
Quiet After The Storm
(Track 12 on the Compilation)
Tokyo's Yosa might be a tough guy, but his debut for Drumpoet Community is anything but: Three delicate, soulful house tracks, of which the wild-pitch and 'French Kiss' inspired 'Rough Jam' is the one for the dance-floor and the low-slung 'Rough Trade' is our personal fave. Nice.

Our taste for seductive grooves, lush chords, and uplifting vibes increases in direct proportion to the temperature, and lucky for us, many great producers have been hard at work to satiate our recent hunger for house music.

Another super-solid release from the Drumpoet camp, featuring Hunee with one of his finest productions to date: the amazing 'Took My Love'. Three more tracks by DC, Kawabata, and Vienna's Johannes Lehner make this an outstanding compilation. Recommended.
