The Japanese division of Brighton's Mr Bongo label, Disorient started in 1997 as an extension of the Mr Bongo record shop in Tokyo. Disorient intends to give exposure to Japanese artists in Europe and has enjoyed considerable success with releases like Kaori's cover-version of Inner City's 'Good Life'.
