Delsin Records Delsin Records
Started in 1996 by Peel Seamus, Delsin has grown to be one Europe's most influential labels dedicated to preserving the heritage of the original sound of Detroit technosoul. Artists like CiM, Aardvarck, Newworldaquarium, D5, Yotoko and Dynarec have had their first releases on the label, with albums coming from Optic Nerve, Future Beat Alliance or $tinkworx. While Delsin has been covering many styles over the last decade - from deep electronica to deep house, abstract beats and electro - it is most commonly associated with the deep drifting techno represented by its new generation of artists like Quince, Taho, Vince Watson or Redshape.

Mouse On Mars, Regis, Terranova, Burial
If it weren't for today's free bonus day we would have had to miss out on a few amazing releases this February: Regis' three-volume 'Complete Works' for instance or Edward's debut album on White Music, which have just barely made the deadline for this month's more...

Ancient Methods, Marcel Dettmann, Rivet, Mondkopf
Shining a light into the dark corners of our souls, underground techno with an edge is the theme of this week's update. Freely quoting dubstep and industrial, electronica and house next to the style's Detroit roots, techno has become more difficult to pinpoint more...

Delsin goes crate digging: MK's 'The MKappella', B-side to 1991's 'Burning' on Area 10, sweet 'n simple deep house with heart-tugging carefree melodies and gently pulsating 'Lost' by The 7th Plain aka Luke Slater from his debut album in 1994. A welcome excursion to revisit quality tracks.

Ostgut Ton don Marcel Dettmann takes Morphosis' darkly evocative 'Too Far' from his 'What Have We Learned' album and preps it for the main room. The first lending a straighter edge and the second a heaving, fragmented Berghain-ready pounder with the haunting vocal sending shivers. Don't miss.
