Manchester based label, Data-Trace Records, was assembled out of a desire to support artists experimenting within the structures of techno, breakbeat, electro, etc. The label's mission statement is to 'Push our thoughts, ideas and equipment to the limit in order to shape the future.' Sounds spooky in the perfect kind of electro way. Current artists on Data-Trace Records include Smashback, Teutonic Kaboom, Ardisson, Cynthia Stern, and cut up wizard Lief Ryan, to name but a few.
