Frank Martiniq's perfectly proportioned slice of dub techno 'Golden Dusk' of late last year gets ace remix treatment by Scott Grooves & Kataconda. Pushing the former glacial cut into murkier, brashly percussive depths and imbuing it with a hypnotic, grittier groove, with a raw beats version included. Wicked.

Not that Darko Esser's slate needed cleaning to begin with, but this is certainly one of his finest productions to date. A complex snare-driven Detroit techno groove offsets 'Clean Slate's simple dub chord pattern to great effect, and remixes come from DVS1 (Transmat, Klockwerks) and Lucy. Highly recommended.
