Burial Mix belongs to the Basic Channel label family and explores the boundaries between reggae and dub. All releases are produced by Basic Channel's Mark Ernestus & Moritz von Oswald under the name Rhythm & Sound with vocal contributions by original Studio One artists like Cornell Campbell or Jennifer Lara and Berlin's premier dub vocalist Paul St. Hilaire. The series has found a preliminary conclusion in the See Mi Yah compilation and the ensuing See Mi Yah Remixes with interpretations by renowned artists like Carl Craig, Ricardo Villalobos or Vladislav Delay.
