Bunker Bunker
Established in 1992 by The Hague's legendary techno crew Unit Moebius, Bunker Records is a seminal label for raw underground techno and electro, still operating to this day. Bunker was born from a famous series of squat parties, Acid Planet, which financed the label's first releases. After going bankrupt in 1998, Bunker quickly arose from its ashes with new artists such as Legowelt, and an undiminished passion for releasing the sickest acid house, electro and industrial techno out there.

With well-timed releases appearing nearly simultaneously on Bunker and M>O>S Recordings, Perseus Traxx (Nigel Rogers) is getting some well-deserved exposure for his brand of analogue, retro-futuristic House. This 5-tracker for Bunker is a sampler of his sound delivering a fresh perspective to a classic style.

The second part of The Exaltic's epic three part installment on Bunker Records continues in much the same vein, classic no-nonsense electro, this time in fuller swing. A little grittier around the edges compared to part one with more palpable acid leanings, a fine complement to its predecessor.

Bunker presents the first in an ambitious three part album series by German underground electro heroes The Exaltics, who put a distinct spin on the Drexciya / Dopplereffekt style across the album's nine tracks. Well composed and impeccably produced this is a must for all fans of subaquatic electro.

Digital release of $tinkworx's 'Mnml 808' from 2001 proves that tight and dutty analog electro jams just get better with age. From the scrumptious 808 workout of the title track to the gliding funk synths of 'Porta Hook' and the Drexciyan vortex of 'ATDT', it's an absolute pleasure every time.
