Marcello Napoletano's low-fi house is always something special and this new EP for Bosconi is no exception: 'Noise Is The Cure' sounds like Ron Trent fed into various distortion and anti-quantization devices, while his two I.F.M collaborations strike a deep, respectively slightly hysteric note. Unique!

After squeezing out more than his fair share of verifiable floor-shaking UK Funky hits this year, Danny Native delves into a more introverted deep house with this release on Tuscany's Bosconi Records. Euphoric samples, smooth classic house moves and ravey nuances make a very tidy EP. Recommended.
