Superstar German producer/DJ Gabriel Ananda compiles a large collection of his own works, with hits from his 'Doppelwhipper' and 'Stream of Consciousness' EPs, as well as tracks off his albums 'Bambusbeats' and 'Tai Nasha No Karosha'. As an added treat, twelve mostly unreleased chill-out tracks.

Gabriel Ananda gets energetic with two live-recorded tracks in his trademark melodic techno style: 'Alpha', which combines a bleepy hook line with sumptuous strings and a hint of breakbeats, and the aptly titled 'Smash', which unleashed a fury of noise stabs with a nod to Prodigy and Autechre. Strong.

The third release on Gabriel Ananda's own Basmati label, 'Charming & Alarming' consists of four shuffling tracks that combine bouncing house beats with great synth-work, especially on 'Trixini', which stands out with constantly modulating, syncopated hooklines. Gabriel Ananda just gets better and better.
