Trondheim meets Utrecht on this EP from Norwegian producer EOD on 030303 Records. Six marvellous tracks of pop electronica melodies over classical electro beats - think Border Community synths, DMX Krew drums and a sprinkle of AFX acid. Recommended.

If you don't love Tom Jenkinson's music you have no sense of humour. Yet 'The Unstoppable Phax Machine' might appeal to more serious-minded acid, electro, and neo-disco fans as well, being comparatively docile and DJ-friendly - until happy hardcore closing track 'Woof Acid' that is... The D'Arcangelo brothers return with this gorgeous slice of acid-drenched electronica via Dutch imprint 030303. Six tracks of spaced-out broken beats, from deep analogue jams like 'Walking Largo' to the more industrial sounds of 'Beta9' and 'Etes', are bound to make your grey matter spin.

Whoever predicted techno to be a passing fad some 20 years ago couldn't have been much further from the truth. The demand for straight kickdrums and synthetic basslines is as high as ever, and techno music continues to develop in ways no one could have more...

Acid heads rejoice: Dutch 030303 imprint has assembled an all-star line-up from the braindance universe to contribute tracks to this excellent compilation: JTC, Luke Vibert, Ceephax, Kettel and D'Arcangelo are all aboard, getting their hands dirty on their much-twiddled 303 knobs.
