Vienna's unique club and art space, Pratersauna, presents one selected album for a special price each month. This month's choice is Mark E's eagerly awaited debut album Stone Breaker.

''Of course, it wasn't supposed to be an album.'' Birmingham based Mark E still cools it down, whether it's about his excellent disco edits he was releasing on labels like Ghostly sister-label Spectral Sound - named ''Stone Breaker'' fittingly.

On 9 tracks, the Wolverhampton born Mark Evetts, having made a name by slowing things down and creating an almost immediately recognizable style with his re-edits of tracks by Birth Control, Janet Jackson or Womack & Womack, produced a mixture of Detroit-drenched repetitiveness, souly Chicago inspired hymns, atmospheric spaced-out bangers and floaty beat machines.

''Not once does it break its step or err from its course - it owns you, your body, and your mind from beginning to end''
