Beautifully located at foot of the Vesuvius volcano and Italy's third-largest city, Naples might have gotten bad press lately for its municipal mismanagement and struggling economy. Its cultural heritage however, spanning an era of 2000 years, remains as inviting to the traveler as does the city's famous cuisine. Musically Naples is or was home to the likes of Enrico Carruso, Nino D'angelo, Marco Carola or Gaetano Parisio.
