Musicwise Florida's most famous city has to be noted for creating a unique style of electronic music from elements of rap, electro and Latin music: Miami bass. Pioneered in the 80s by the likes of 2 Live Crew, Freestyle, Maggotron or Dynamix II, Miami bass has since evolved to into sped up r'n'b on one end of the spectrum and hard, industrial electro on the other.
