HOME
The largest city in former East Germany (discounting the divided Berlin), Leipzig has always been the cultural centre of the region and home to famous musicians such as Johann Sebastian Bach and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy. Since the end of the GDR, Leipzig was quick to establish a lively electronic music underground, its famous Distillery being the longest running techno club in East Germany.
