Kraków is Poland's second largest city and one of its oldest. Its largely untouched city centre was inscribed on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites as the first of its kind. Considered by many to be the cultural capital of Poland, Kraków is home to a large number of universities and renowned cultural venues. The city's Unsound festival has further established itself as one of the most interesting yearly festivals for avant-garde and electronic music in Europe.
