Rotterdam's Roswell Return project has been making waves with its brilliant deep and Detroit influenced techno dub on SD Records: First with last year's 'IFTODEX C0001' EP, which included a great remix by label owners Syncom Data, and just recently with the album 'Probe', a 17-track strong exploration of dubbed-out, subaquatic electronica.

Now SD Records has released the album's video edition, which includes the movie 'Roadworkers', an 'experimental documentary' (meaning no voice-overs) by Dutch film maker Debbie Kleijn. The movie's 38-minute long editor's cut documents the daily routine of Dutch roadworkers in stunning pictures and is set to the mesmerizing music of Roswell Return's 'Probe' album.

In its unusual combination of sound and images 'Roadworkers' is something like a Kojanisquatsi for Kraftwerk fans, both beautiful and thought-provoking. The high-resolution MP4 version of 'Roadworkers' is now available for download as part of the 'Probe / Roadworkers' video edition.
Album released 04-01-2011 on SD Records
