On the occasion of next week's Pomelo party, hosted by Killekill in Berlin's infamous Berghain Kantine, label head honcho Lodig a.k.a Lok44 steps up to drop a hot and heavy contribution to our podcast-series.
Starting to DJ in the early 90ies, Daniel Lodig soon became one of the driving forces of Vienna's emerging techno-scene, making a name for himself thanks to his exceptional DJ skills. Throughout his career, Daniel Lodig released records for New York's Tension Records, Munich's Kurbel label and of course on his very own Pomelo imprint, which has been going strong for more than 17 years now. |

![]() For Podcast #008, Lodig deftly navigates through an impeccable selection of mostly dancefloor material - some classic, some destined-to-be classic. Beginning from the hazy depths of cuts by Actress, Urban Tribe and Madteo, into the raw, punishing back-to-back onslaught of Drexciya, Marcel Dettmann, and Alex Cortex, Lodig displays a technical ability and a rich sense of history cultivated from his nearly 2 decade-long dedication to this music. |
