Two decades of Ninja Tune! Founded in 1990 by Matt Black and Jonathan More, known to most as Coldcut, the London-based label has had a tremendous influence on dance music culture as we know it. Determined to celebrate in style, the Ninja Tune crew has compiled an absolutely massive two-volume anniversary compilation including a total of 62 tracks, around 95% of which are made up of new and unreleased material.

The wealth and quality of music on display here is almost impossible to put in words, so we'll confine ourselves to pointing out a few indisputable highlights: Autechre's version of The Bug's 'Skeng' is certainly among them, as is Mala's immaculate dub of Andreya Tiana's 'A Town Called Obsolete'. More surprise contributions come from Zomby, Diplo, Rustie, Mark Pritchard, Dorian Concept and Benga, besides more exclusive tracks and remixes by Ninja Tunes mainstays like Jaga Jazzist, Amon Tobin, Daedelus, Mr. Scruff, and Roots Manuva.

The Ninja Tune crew must have spent many sleepless nights to compile this amazing volume and must be highly commended for a stunning selection of music. Happy birthday!

Volume 1 of Ninja Tunes XX compilation starts out with Amon Tobin and Joe Chapman's relentless banger, 'Fools Rhythm', and shows little intention of slowing down during its 29 tracks. Exclusives by Roots Manuva, Zomby, Benga, The Bug, Rusty, Deadelus, Mark Pritchard, and tons more. All killers, no fillers.

The second volume of Ninja Tune's mind-boggling anniversary compilation takes a more soulful turn, with great new material by Bonobo, Gaslamp Killer, Yppah, Mr. Scruff, Floating Points, and Jaga Jazzist, while some more electronic punches are delivered by Mala, Autechre, and Lorn. Deliriously good.
