Matias Aguayo is set to return to Kompakt this year: the Cologne label has just announced a yet unnamed six-track EP to follow up on the Chilean producer's acclaimed 'Ay Ay Ay' album from 2009.

On the occasion Kompakt has also released a new Matias Aguayo video for his track 'Ritmo Juarez'. Directed by Videowerk's Julia Kasprzak the video is staged in a black-boxed Sesame Street meets Tropicana world, with multiple copies of Aguayo dancing in front of neon-coloured, hand-drawn backgrounds.

For the past year the cosmopolitan producer, who recently relocated to Berlin once again, had been busy running his excellent Cómeme label together with Gary Pimiento, promoting the freestyle sounds of Latin-American artists like Ana Helder, Rebolledo, and Daniel Maloso.
