For well over a decade Kid606 has been building his reputation as an unpredictable bad boy of electronic music. Using and abusing scraps of techno, jungle, punk and pop music, he has created beautiful releases in a wide range of styles from illbient to breakcore.
Gearing up for his new album 'Shout at the Döner', due to be released in May, Kid606 has issued a call to arms for all his fans and potential remixers: His track 'Mr Wobble's Nightmare' is now available from online music community Tracks & Fields, ready to be shredded, reassembled, and properly meshed up on the fly.
The remix with the most votes wins a free Ableton Live license, while Kid606 will choose his favourite mix for a release on his renowned Tigerbeat6 label, which will be exclusively available through zero".
