The larger-than-life collaboration between the two hottest house duos stateside, Brooklyn's Wolf + Lamb and Boston's Soul Clap for the celebrated DJ-KiCKS series has successfully exceeded everyone's high expectations. The combined force of their talents puts them at the top of the field when it comes to deep, soulful modern house music, eclectically inspired and straight from the heart.

One of the new tracks to arise during the DJ-KiCKS project and definitely one of the stand-out cuts of the luscious mix has to be Soul Clap feat. Charles Levine's 'Lonely C', a heartbreaking disco-gem with the emotional highs and lows of the dancefloor. In Wolf+Lamb's Zev's words, "we've all turned to the disco for solace and we've all been Lonely C, at least for a night".

It was for this track that the four artists decided to bestow some of the creativity to their fans and opened up a video contest to the public. Over the past week, !K7 having been counting down the top five entries on the DJ-KiCKS blog, with the official winning video finally just revealed.

Depicting 'Lonely C' as a companionless part-time robot, the winning video catches the lonesome atmosphere of the song in true good humour. Shot in downtown Vancouver at night, the team of Dan Hellmann, Kelvin Beaudette, Claire Beaudette & James Hutchison create some beautiful visual and emotional moments, which manage to capture the inner charm of the track and keep you glued until the end.
