Hungry For The Power (Jamie Jones Ridge Street Remix)
(Track 03 on the Compilation)
Zurich's Sacha Winkler has been pretty quiet on the releases of late, but upon founding his own Rumpelmusig label this year seems to promise a renewed magical musical playground. 'Independent Dancer' is a colourful riot of songs flirting with funk, soul, disco, folky vocals and plenty of humour, emotion and flair.
Come to My Empire
(Track 01 on this Maxi-Single)
Electropopsters from Toulouse, Hypnolove return with a new single and forthcoming album. Produced by Mickey Moonlight 'Come to My Empire' is a cool, wavey piece of synth-reggae that reminds us of Supermax. In any case it's perfect source material for Gerald Donald, who contributes a fantastic Arpanet mix. Don't miss!
Blue Hotel (Original Mix)
(Track 03 on this EP)
Those Kitsuné cats have another set of tricks up their sleeves, the latest Parisien compilation charts hot talent from France's capital. Slowed funkin' synths from TOYS, licks of retro disco from Pyramid and Le Crayon, saccharine synth pop from CINEMA and Joris Delacroix, an utterly charming collection. Check it!
Keep My Secret (Video)

Patty Sue (Super Flu Suncream’s RMX)
(Track 03 on this Maxi-Single)
The much anticipated third album from France's Guillaume Grasso & Jeremy Duval, certainly less hyperactive than their debut and more akin to the wandering synthscapes of 2007's 'Lazare'. Chunky synth melodies equal parts cosmic and psychedelic, luscious electronic journeys from beginning to end. Recommended!
Hello Inc. (feat. Saint Michel) [DJ Falcon Parallel Remix]

Unspoken (Moonlight Matters Main Mix) [feat. El Perro Del Mar]
(Track 04 on this Maxi-Single)
Four years after 'The Astral Projections Of Starlight' Woolfy vs. Projections release their sophomore album, but while the 'The Return of Love's polished disco-funk is rendered confidently enough, it is an album that doesn't quite hit its stride until its more nocturnal and daring last third ('Set Me Loose', 'The Passage'). Check.
