Santiago Salazar and Silent Servant's joint label project, Historia y Violencia, is now available for download exclusively on zero". To celebrate their arrival, zero" is offering an exclusive special edition release not to be missed by fans of deep and dubby Detroit techno: The 'H&V 001+002+003' triple pack consists of the label's stunning debut single, its just released follow up, plus the label's upcoming third outing thrown in as a free bonus.
Having joined forces for the Historia y Violencia project in 2008, both Santiago Salazar and Juan Mendez a.k.a. Silent Servant have independently made a major impression on the electronic music landscape in recent years: Salazar, Underground Resistance associate and Los Hermanos founding member, has lately been active on labels such as Rush Hour and Macro Recordings, while recording together with Esteban Adame as Ican. Mendez meanwhile has been running his Cytrax and Delay labels since 1997 and has recently attracted attention to his newly adopted Silent Servant monker through outstanding contributions to the elusive Sandwell District imprint.
