Erkrankung Durch Musique pays tribute to a true pioneer of German electronic music: Conrad Schnitzler.
A prolific experimentalist, Schnitzler has been active in Europe's avante garde music scene for over 30 years, most notably as a founding member of legendary krautrock groups Tangerine Dream and Kluster. Since the demise of Kluster in 1971, Schnitzler has released dozens of albums, cassettes and CDs, both on his own and on various labels around the world.
Four of his rarest tracks from the late 70s and early 80s have been retrieved, remastered and re-edited into veritable disco monsters by Munich's Dr. Mooner, formerly of "Kernkraft 400" chart-toppers Zombie Nation, and label-owner of the wonderful Erkrankung Durch Musique label.
The first 250 copies of 'Rare Tracks 1979 - 1982 Re-edited' will ship with a personally signed Conrad Schnitzler autograph card, which contains a coupon code for the digital version of the EP for download on zero".
