Following up on last years 'I Won't Conform' Alex Cortex returns to Pomelo with a four-track EP that underscores both his versatility and idiosyncratic sonic palette, from the crackling, abstract techno of 'Your Sexy Moves' to the Detroitish flavours of 'Klein Bottle' and 'Emergence's breakbeat allusions. Ace.

Despite Alex Cortex' recent withdrawal from music production, the Pomelo label has secured yet another EP with four tracks by the idiosyncratic German producer. From the DJ-friendly deep house moods of 'Optumismo', to the Dan-Bell-ish 'I Won't Conform' and the more electro-styled 'Aproximalamente', this is a brilliant effort which keeps begging for more.
