 As the year draws to a close, we turn our attention to the idyllic Austrian town of Graz, for one of the last main events on the international music festival calendar, featuring live appearances by Atom TM, Scorn, Deadbeat and many, many more. Kicking off today is the Elevate 2008 festival - four days of live music, DJs, performances, lectures and installations, with the unique agenda of 'combining politics with art and music within a special framework.' zero" is proud to support Elevate, the central theme of this year's festival being 'commons': the world's natural, cultural and social resources and the issues surrounding them. Alongside the worthy cause, the festival offers an excellent and diverse musical line-up, including exceptional artists like Atom TM, Scorn, Deadbeat, Jay Haze a.k.a. Fuckpony, Felix Kubin, The Bug feat. Warrior Queen, Mad EP, DJ Glow, DJ Spooky That Subliminal Kid, and Mark Pritchard a.k.a. Harmonic 33. To celebrate our association with Elevate 2008, zero" will be giving away a free download compilation to every attendee of the festival's main events on Friday and Saturday, with a special compilation reserved for festival pass owners. The compilations include hand-picked tracks by the festival's artists, such as Deadbeat, Atom TM or Scorn. Be sure to check your festival wristband at the end of the day for your free download code.
